After 50 years of hard work, already in retirement, he fully began to live for his pleasure: to go to the theater, the Philharmonic. In winter, he rises on skis, and in the summer he sits on a bicycle, goes to the pool.

He loves to dance and listen to symphonic music, reads a lot. He grows flowers in his dacha. All this makes him an interesting interlocutor attracting others to him. Nikolai Petrovich by nature is a very positive person, an optimist. Even in the most difficult moments of life, he always did not cease to hope and believe, repeating the words that "tomorrow it would be better than yesterday." Probably, this helped him achieve such successes in his career and in the family.

The honored builder moved to Khabarovsk as a boy, along with his parents from the Kursk region. He graduated from the Railway Institute and remained working in the region. At this time, Nikolai Petrovich participated in the construction of a regional printing house: he made reinforcing frames for her building. In the year, Kuprikov decided to change his “role” a little.

And he settled down in the Daltekhmontazh Trust, where he soon received the post of head of the Khabarovsk installation department. Here he had to oversee the work at many important objects of industry and not only in the regional capital, but also in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Amursk, and in the villages of the region.

Among them are the ice cream factory at the Khabarovsk refrigeat, a fish gastronomy plant, the Nekrasovsky pig -breeding complex, the Far Eastern poultry farm, the chores biochemical ... and such social objects as the first regional hospital, the Intourist Hotel, the Musical Comedy Theater. It was Nikolai Petrovich who led the process of installing all technological equipment during their construction.

A little more than a decade, Nikolai Kuprikov began to work in the system of the Ministry of Installation and Special Construction Services of the USSR. During this period of his life, he became the deputy head of the Glavsibdalmontazh in the Far Eastern District and received the title “Honored Builder of the USSR”. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Nikolai Petrovich worked for a long time as deputy director at the Dalsantekhmontazh enterprise.

He went on a well -deserved rest not so long ago - in the year. He leads a healthy and active lifestyle. Sitting in place is not in his style. For Nikolai Petrovich, in the order of things - go on a hike on the left bank of the Amur ... on skiing! And his house is never empty. The beloved grandfather is constantly visited by a large and souls in him that does not have a non -childish family: two children, three granddaughters, grandson and great -granddaughter!
