The updated group has changed not only the repertoire, but also the name that now sounded like “Alexander Barykin and the Rock band“ Carnival ”. And again two hits were born - the compositions “Star Carnival” and “Carousel”. Pavel Zhagun was attracted to work on the recording of the album, who became the author of the texts for the songs of “Miracle Steats” and “Views”. It is interesting that the group has not been advertised anywhere. Neither television nor radio broadcast their performances, but the musicians managed to collect full stadiums.

They avoided small halls, there were too many people who wanted to get to their performances. Literally on the fifth or six day after the release of the album, it could already be found in any corner of the country. Two “carnival” records came to M, called the “radio” and “actor”. A few months after that, the Ministry of Culture issued a new decree regarding the repertoire of musical groups.

But in the repertoire, the Carnival did not have a single “nomenclature” song, and they were on the black list of the ministry. They were banned by tour and concert activities, they stopped paying fees. For this reason, the “carnival” broke up in metro with a solo career after the “carnival” broke up, Barykin became unemployed. At one time, he collaborated with the Lenkom Theater, played in the orchestra pit.

He saw a lot of acquaintances there - these were the musicians of the Araks group, which was also dispersed.
