I would like the tour to become a starting position for the art that I promote and I am engaged. I will not take risks and immediately come with the classics, but I will try those trends that are available and intelligible to people in our country. - Yes, I got out of rock and only for the past 30 years I sing the classics. And before that, he increased his skill as a rock performer. But the classic prevailed in me. This is a teacher with strong personal qualities, with outstanding acting abilities, with a unique voice - this he fascinated me. I wanted to sing the same. I wanted to sing as I couldn’t and even could not imagine.
And I brought me to the classics of Sati Spivakov, the current wife of the violinist and conductor Vladimir Spivakov. So she took it by the hand and brought it to the Aida opera to the Kremlin Palace of Congresses, where Vladislav Ivanovich himself spoke. It was like an injection - from the first notes of the orchestra, I realized that this is an art that I want to comprehend, I want to carry the hearts of people with one voice.
Then there were rebirth. Ten years of work on the opera stage and the trend of minimalization turned me a little from the opera, because I was used to performing the opera in costumes of the era that is discussed so that the performance was well decorated. And then - I constantly searched for new creative solutions. You can, of course, have a hundredth time to reckon the “Rigoletto” and go out the duke, but what will remain after me?
I am now worried about what heritage I will leave as an executor, so I began to try myself as a composer, as a producer. Began to connect different genres. I did not understand what, but with the skin I felt that something was wrong in the country.
Everything was against the person in it. Now - on the contrary. This is the charm of the struggle of the unity of opposites, when it is impossible to fet and cannot be broken. Now there is not enough collective thinking, then only it prevailed, and this usurped the human person. Now - permissiveness, each pulls the blanket only on himself. Personal thinking was born, which took people away from the thinking of the collective, which gives part of the energy outside.
Now there is an excess of consumption, hence the wretchedness of the moral and ethical norms of a person. The body is indifferent, it constantly wants new consumption. Someday we will come to the balance of personal and collective, and then the Golden Age will come. Probably all sorts of liberties allowed themselves to express? Yes, and then he himself was unhappy, the selfish approach also had too much ambitions - he believed that I was the best, and for this I should love and forgive all errors.He missed the classes, behaved freely and refused those roles that I gave because I did not like to sing musicals, did not like to sing operetta, although he studied on the course of the musical theater.
Only opera performances wanted to sing. But the teachers had to give indicators at visiting concerts, and then without me the institute could not do in any way, therefore, as they expelled, they took it back. I drove everywhere and acted like a solo singer. Of course, if I had comprehended many things then, maybe I would have changed my mind earlier. I have never been afraid of anything and I'm not afraid of little now.
I'm only afraid of the Lord - I will have to appear before him, and I remember all my mistakes. All our sores are the consequences of our wrong worldview, an incorrect view of the world. And after the institute, he went into the army calmly, although he could have passed this stage of life, because they took me to work in the theater. He was not ready for those conditions and that discipline, although they were not dragon.
He served in the ensemble of the song and dance of the Russian Army named after A. Well, I could not stand in the choir! I only wanted to solo. A people can only be a rebel when he has energy, this is the main driving power of our life. If it is - enough for rebellion, and for development. And on April 1, he had already gone to the driver’s courses. The fact is that I had the opportunity to reach Pierre Carden, and I knew that he was a big philanthropist and the patron of art.
So, I came and sang a couple of arias to him. Carden saw in me a promising artist and paid for those very driver’s courses and, in addition, gave a job in his hotel so that I could pay for my studies at the conservatory. And after some time I already gave concerts in his theater as recognized opera tenor. Russia is not quite ready for the classics - if they had not left, would they become who they became?
I think it would become different. Still, France gave me a lot-opened the other side of life, the other side of culture. The first five years of concert and theatrical activities in Europe were very inspired, they gave confidence and the opportunity to feel like a great artist. In 92, he came to Russia and, accompanied by an academic orchestra of Russian folk instruments under the direction of Nikolai Nekrasov, gave a concert in the Great Hall of the Conservatory.
In the year, on the first channel on January 2, the prime time was shown a film dedicated to my work. Then, unfortunately, all the performances were scheduled for years to come, and I could not come to Russia with concerts. In Europe, when I speak, I feel comfortable. And in America - too. This is close. At least I am Russian, I sing in those languages that are recognized as leading in Europe in terms of concert activity of opera tenor - in Italian, Spanish, sometimes English, but it is difficult for me.
The audience in that part of the world is more prepared, there classical music is popular in the same way as ours - chanson. But those trends that I still see with us are the dominance of a condo chanson and pop music of not very high quality. Although there are high -level performers on the Russian stage - Philip Kirkorov has recently been very interesting and has been seriously approaching the repertoire.
This is a master of pop art. There are few cash artists. Everything here is on corporate orders. This is not my hypostasis. But I am sure that the opera fans are in every Russian city, and there are not so few of them. In music - with your head - you once said that classic is a great way to be spiritually cleansed through understanding the beautiful, to achieve peace. Do you yourself have high spiritual qualities?
In order to achieve a result in creativity, asceticism is required, you need to force yourself to work, do not follow your desires. It cleans all. The last ten -year -old I am looking for voice technology, the search for new forms, but I could earn money and live happily, enjoying all the charms of social life. I had this period and quickly passed.
I chose the development path. To hit the listener's imagination with one sound of the voice, you need to plunge with your head into the profession. It is not enough to have God's spark, talent, you need to work daily.
