Biography of Yuri Askarov
Yuri Askarov is subject to many genres of the art of representation, but he has always been loved - buffoonery and pantomime. His father, to whom he mainly owes his bright appearance, was an actor and at one time served in the Leningrad BDT. Yuri's mother, although she worked as an accountant, was engaged in the cultural education of her son and instilled in him a love of the theater.
Once, when Yuri still studied in elementary grades, she went with him to the concert of Gennady Khazanov. Looking at how the whole hall rolled out with laughter, he thought that he would like to amuse the audience as well.
Yuri Askarov, the deposits of the future pantomime made themselves felt in the school years of Askarov, but only classmates appreciated his crooking and the ability to “make faces”. Therefore, after graduating from school, thoughts about entering the theater institute did not arise, and Yuri entered the local institute for psychology. He was able to show his acting abilities in the competitions of student teams of KVN.

Atkinson looked at this number of Askarov and noticed that he was fulfilled very talented and original.
