Biography of a serial maniac

The most bloody of them is the sexual maniac Yuri Kuzmenko nicknamed Elvis. He operated in the Vasilkovsky district of the Kyiv region. At the same time, two more maniacs hunted for women at the same time in the same area. To calculate them, forensic scientists began to create a unique technology for the capture of the series. Thanks to the investigator Ruslan Sushko and other leading maniacists of Ukraine, we reconstructed the little -known and bloody events of those days.

Nothing in the ghoul gives out a ghoul. This is a middle -aged man, middle physique, without special signs. Education is also, of course, secondary. Married or divorced. He drinks in moderation. He has no close friends. The traditional lifestyle leads. Positively characterized at the place of work. This is a portrait of an abstract sexual maniac - a serial killer.

Rather, a superficial and inaccurate fragment of the portrait. The full picture occupies hundreds of pages and is a scientific work prepared by a team of Ukrainian forensics. From for a year in Ukraine, a unique forensic direction developed, which can conditionally be called maniacedic. He led the investigative group that caught Elvis, Lieutenant Colonel Ruslan Sushko.

Nothing in the hunter for ghouls gives out a hunter. Former investigator for particularly important cases of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in colloquial - Vazynnyak Ruslan Sushko - a large man of about fifty. A mustache and glasses make him like a technical intellectual. This is easy to imagine for a culmin in some design bureau. And this is not just an image - Sushko has two higher education, the first is the technical Kiev Polytechnic, the second is the legal KSU named after What else?

Married, two children. Behind Sushko, 12 thousand court sentences are about cases in which he took part as an investigator and head of the investigative groups. Of these, 8 thousand - for especially serious crimes: murders, rape, robberies, robberies. Initiation, the beginning of this story resembles the plot in the spirit of the Grimm brothers. And he had everything like people: work, old Lada, a grumpy wife, a stepson. No one could say anything bad about him: he did not get drunk, did not loom. One trouble: the carpenter did not stand out. Although there was a wealth of money for life, but he did not shir, nor the abilities at work were in good account, but not the first master, nor any hobby. He constantly felt that he was missing something.

In his free time, the carpenter wandered alone in the forest, angry with people. I went somehow very far, to the rotten swamp near the abandoned airfield. He met him there a swamp devil. He saw the unkind thoughts of the carpenter, and settled into him. On the same day, the ghoul tracked down, raped and strangled the girl. Outwardly, the carpenter has not changed in any way, no one could still say anything bad about him.

However, since then women began to disappear in the surrounding villages: young and old, married and lonely, beautiful and not very. At first, fear enveloped one village adjacent to the forest, then the second, and after some time trouble came to the nearest city. Then in another. Well, in order: boyar, cornflower, Fastov. This is not a fairy tale. The fictional character here is only a swamp devil although you know.

Otherwise, all this is a simplified story of the formation of a sexy killer maniac, a joiner from the boyar, Yuri Kuzmenko. Simplified, because the devil drove him through the gardens, forests and forest plantations for several years, turning into a ghoul gradually. In the field of view of law enforcement officers, he first hit the year. He attacked women going to work in the Kiev Botanical Garden named after Grishka.

During the detention, he was beaten by local police. He spent about a year in the investigative insulator. He was released ahead of schedule for good behavior. As a carpenter, he repaired furniture to the prison authorities. I was listed in good account. After a short imprisonment, he returned to his previous classes: he was a carpentry and worked as a private carrier on an old five.

And - again attacked women. According to the investigation, Kuzmenko committed the first murder on June 19. On that day, his car stopped near Ty Summer Student, returning from Kyiv to his native village.

The girl dragged a heavy bag for the bus stop. Kuzmenko, he himself came from those places, knew her. He offered help. I brought it to an abandoned airfield. The victim resisted. During the fight, Kuzmenko killed her. Subsequently, he will share his impressions with the investigator Ruslan Sushko: “When I strangled her, he experienced such feelings that he realized: this is what I was looking for.” So the initiation of a maniac - a serial killer took place.

But this is a simplified version. In fact, the blood on Kuzmenko's hands appeared a year earlier. I tracked the summer pensioner. I hit the head, dragged into the bushes, began to rape. The old woman lost consciousness, died in the same place a few hours later - from a heart attack. Relatives of a pensioner were worried on the third day. The police at the place of residence of the old woman - the village of Vishnevoy - refused to accept the statement about the loss of a person.

The daughters of the deceased were explained: once they disappeared in Glevha, so go to Vasilkov district center.In Vasilkov, they accepted the paper, but they did not look for a grandmother. The body was found by relatives themselves. The Vasilkovsky police refused to initiate the case by stating natural death. Like, the woman tore off her underwear due to the heat. In those days when he had not yet killed, but only raped, he could be caught. Several cases are known when the police, under various pretexts, refused Kuzmenko victims to initiate criminal cases. One of these victims kept panties with traces of the sperm of the rapist, hoping that sooner or later they would catch it, and the underpants would be material evidence.

And so it happened: he was caught a few years later, but after the rapist evolved into the serial killer. Every month, the maniac improving his skill: he began to put on his head a stocking, on his hands gloves, arranged forest ambushes. And left less evidence. By the year in the triangle of the settlements of the boyar-Vasilkov-corps, the number of female corpses grew exponentially. Identified and unidentified.

The murder epidemic touched the neighboring Fastov. When asked why the police refused to initiate criminal cases, the investigator Sushko reacts sharply: - Because degenerates. I used to think that this was a professional deformation, then I realized that they were born. They are all in figs. According to Sushko, local opera not only by hook or by crook refused to initiate criminal cases, but could also hide the remains of victims.

This could not continue endlessly. In the year, the head of the Department of Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vasily Pascal put forward the version that a serial killer was operating in the Vasilkovsky district of the Kyiv region. Basic: “Biological Materials” belonging to one man were found on three bodies. The cops were ready to tear to pieces with Ruslan Sushko, we met at the summer terrace of the cafe near the Podolsky court.
